Privacy policy

This policy explains the limited information that may be processed when someone visits ScribaEcho.
Website analytics
We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited, whether a page produces a click on an approved affiliate link, and whether a visitor completes a small set of predefined same-site navigation steps such as moving from a product comparison to the cost decision worksheet. Our first-party counters store the date, normalized page path, approved product identifier or bounded source/destination path pair, and aggregate count. They do not intentionally store cookies, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, user-agent strings, query strings, raw referrer values, worksheet entries, or session identifiers.
Infrastructure providers may separately process technical request and security information to deliver and protect the site. We do not intend to use analytics information to identify individual visitors.
Affiliate links
When a visitor follows an affiliate link, the destination provider or affiliate network may process information under its own privacy policy. Tracking parameters may be used to attribute a purchase or other qualifying action to ScribaEcho.
Server and security logs
Infrastructure providers may process technical logs such as IP addresses, user-agent strings, request times, and security events to deliver and protect the site. These provider logs are separate from ScribaEcho's aggregate first-party counters.
If someone contacts us by email, we process the message and address to respond, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary records. We do not currently operate a marketing newsletter.
Changes
This policy may be updated when site functionality or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised for material updates.
